I ordered this set (two phones) to replace a mix of cordless phones and so I wouldn't have to pull a phone line the living room in our new house. The phones work very well for their intended purpose. The signal is very clear and they have good range around the property. With minimal experimenting (the users' manual is always a last resort, right?), it was easy to figure out the menus, functions, and phone book. I like the fact that the contacts are stored centrally so they don't have to be entered in each phone separately.
