Phone is excellent. Has great clarity. While using the cordless phone and then receiving a new call, I would have liked that the base show who is calling. Now you have to take the phone away from your ear and look at the handset to see who is calling. I think that is a poor design. Please note that if you are making your call using only the base with the speaker phone on - then the caller id will now show up on the base. Otherwise it is a good phone for the money., Gone are the days of needing phone wires throughout your house. I had one old cordless phone as well as several corded phones around the house...
